Drawing inspiration and colours from the autumn’s key trends, Lianne’s design is both bold and wearable. After researching the charity, she has cleverly incorporated the Jeans for Genes logo and DNA within the design ensuring the design is both relevant to the charity and desirable to the fashion conscious consumer.
Her design was chosen by a panel of fashion industry experts including representatives from Marks and Spencer, River Island, Ted Baker, and Style Editor to Littlewoods Coleen Rooney, actress and style icon Jaime Winstone.
Lianne says: “I am really pleased that my design will be supporting the work of Jeans for Genes who are such a great charity. I remember wearing my jeans to school and how exciting I was - I am impressed by how such a simple but bold fundraising concept can really make a difference. I hope that it sells out so that more and more families benefit from the work of Jeans for Genes.”
The 2011 t-shirt has been modelled by celebrities including Christine Bleakley, Stacey Solomon and girl band PARADE.
