Be an ambassador
Our ambassadors are volunteers who encourage local schools,
organisations and community groups to take part in Jeans for Genes Day.
Get more people involved, like the staff at Old Alresford Place in Hampshire
Your enthusiasm about the charity can help us to significantly increase the amount of money we raise.
You might be interested in becoming an ambassador because you have a child or a relative with a genetic disorder or you’re a friend of an affected family. Or perhaps you've simply grown to love Jeans for Genes Day after years of taking part.
You already know how important it is for us to raise money, and it’s your passion and personal experience that will inspire others to do the same.
What we’d like you to do
We’d like you to talk to schools, organisations or community groups in your local area. We’ve created a toolkit that will help you to talk to them about our work and why it would be great for them to take part in Jeans for Genes Day.
We know it can sometimes be difficult to know what to say, so each toolkit contains sample letters and bespoke leaflets to help you encourage others to sign-up and take part in the Day.
