Avery’s denim art competition - winning school announced!
As part of Jeans for Genes Day 2011, Avery Dennison challenged all budding artists to enter a Denim Art Competition for schools.
School children were encouraged to create a work of art around the theme ‘The Future’ using denim and other fabrics.
We are delighted to announce the winner was The Owls Den after school club based at Greenleas pre-school in Wallasey, Merseyside whose denim masterpiece was entitled ‘Owl – children for the future’.
Avery also selected 3 runners-up, including Tredegar Comprehensive School in Gwent, Deringham Primary School in London and Oak Lodge School.
